Cooling Harness Guide
How to Use the Cooling Harness
- Prior to the first use, adjust the harness to a snug fit.
- Before placing the harness on your dog for a walk, cover the harness with temperate water.
- Wring out excess water so that the harness is damp but not dripping wet.
- Place the harness on your dog and enjoy your walk!
- Remove the harness from your dog and let it air dry.
- Hand- or machine-wash, as needed, with detergents with minimal dyes and scents to remove dirt or odors.
- Always air dry...never machine dry.
Important Safety Information
This cooling harness helps keep your dog comfortable in warm weather when it is still safe to be outside. Do NOT use it to take your dog out in temperatures warmer than what you would normally find comfortable for a walk.
The harness relies on evaporative cooling, which works best in low- to medium-humidity conditions during the daytime. We do not recommend using it in high-humidity environments or at night.
Watch your dog closely during outdoor activity in hot weather. If you notice signs of heat stress, such as excessive panting, drooling, or lethargy, bring them inside immediately and seek veterinary care.
